Another Successful Plainsmen Christmas concert

On the 3rd of December The Plainsmen again held their annual Christmas Concert in the Transitional Cathedral. This was a wonderful celebration of Christmas in the barbershop style. There were some new songs such as I've Been Working on the Railroad, There's a New Gang on Corner and Hallelujah which allthough not Christmas songs got the concert off to a great start. Then there were the Christmas favourites such as Little Drummer Boy and the lovely medleys Away in a Manger/Amazing Grace and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear/Silent Night. The musical experience was expanded with the songs sung by the Accord chorus, jazz singer Lisa Tui Jonathan and the Brass soloist from Canterbury Brass.
