Our open nights are an opportunity to find out more about the Canterbury Plainsmen and barbershop chorus singing. You may be surprised – we don’t wear funny hats! Our aims are to:
Learn to sing well – our Chorus Music Director, supported by an excellent Music Team, provides weekly instruction;
Entertain others – we have “sing outs” around Christchurch, put on concerts at least twice a year and many of us compete in competitions;
Have fun! – We sing a wide range of songs from hymns & Christmas carols to show songs and rock & roll.
Come check us out. No commitment, no strings, and the only sales pitches will be due to our enthusiasm spilling over!
